I have poured my heart and soul into being a country singer, but still, I am unhappy.
Going to Texas seems like the solution. Not only would I get much needed rest, but I would also be honoring my mother by visiting the place she loved most.
I did not count on meeting him though. Broken but utterly beautiful, our attraction cannot be denied. Maverick has ensnared me, and I am helpless to do anything about it.
